We are thrilled to invite you to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation (CPF) Annual Gala on November 4, 2024.
This year, we will come together under the theme "Making a World of Difference" focusing on how we are creating life changing global impact to improve the lives of individuals with cerebral palsy.
We certainly appreciate all of your past support and hope we can count on you again this year. We have significant updates to share with you on how our work has progressed:
- We're revolutionizing clinical trial and research recruitment, expediting early diagnosis and pioneering new treatments that alter lifelong outcomes, and transforming healthcare for adults with cerebral palsy through a collaborative international effort
- Improving healthcare systems - our early detection program and expansion in the US and worldwide. We have implemented across Ireland and continue to expand our reach, in the US, Uganda, Bulgaria, and Peru. We have trained more than 4000 physicians, therapists and nurses in best practice guidelines and standardized assessments.
- We are proud to announce the development of the first International Preventative Healthcare Guidelines for Adults with Cerebral Palsy. These international guidelines extends our work across the lifespan.
- Creating inclusive communities via our Just Say Hi – Inclusion program across school systems.
- Advocacy and awareness for US federal funding for national cerebral palsy initiatives and collaboration with UN, UNICEF and WHO to improve lives around the world.
- Accessible design and technology collaboration efforts with Microsoft Product Development.
The Cerebral Palsy Foundation is actively driving policy changes and advocating more vigorously than ever on a global scale to shape a brighter future for the most prevalent lifelong physical disability affecting over 17,000,000 individuals globally. With cerebral palsy healthcare costs and economic impacts exceeding $13 billion, there is an immense opportunity to make a tangible difference that will make real financial and societal impact.
