Hank Chambers, MD (Cork) Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at University of California

Hank Chambers, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. He also serves as a Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California at San Diego. After medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.He finished a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship in San Diego under David Sutherland, Scott Mubarak and Dennis Wenger in 1990.

Dr. Chambers is currently the David Sutherland Director of Cerebral Palsy Research at Rady Children’s Hospital. He was the Chief of Staff at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego from 2004-2006 and currently serves as the director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory and the 360 Sports Medicine Program. He is active nationally in many organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a Past President of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and is the current President of PRISM, a pediatric sports medicine research society. His wife, Jill, is active in many local and national patient advocacy groups and is a healing touch provider at Rady Children’s Hospital. His son, Sean (32), who has cerebral palsy, is currently in an assisted living situation in San Diego and his other son, Reid (31) is an orthopedic surgery resident at the Cleveland Clinic.


Amanda O'Sullivan (Kildare) Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

A Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist working in the area of physical disability for over 30 years with Enable Ireland. She leads a specialist Motor Services Team who support children with a primary physical impairment in the community and works in a national post to provide training and support to therapists in disability teams through. She was instrumental in introducing the Cerebral Palsy Integrated Pathway (CPIP) to Republic of

Ireland and introduced the service to Enable Ireland. She is a member of the CPIP National Network UK group as one of the Republic of Ireland representatives.


Fiona Cuddihy (Limerick) Senior Physiotherapist

A Senior Physiotherapist with 19 years’ experience working in the area of paediatric physical disability, currently working for the HSE in East Clare Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). Fiona has taken a lead role in the development of the Motor Management Pathway for CDNTs in the Mid West. As a Cerebral Palsy Integrated Pathway (CPIP) trainer, she has delivered training to CDNT physiotherapists across the Mid West region on CPIP assessment for hip surveillance. Fiona jointly runs the Motor Management service in Clare CDNT.


Maeve Johnston (Limerick) Senior Physiotherapist

Maeve is a Senior Physiotherapist with 10 years’ experience both abroad (New Zealand and Australia) and in Ireland working in the area of paediatric physical disability. Maeve works for the HSE in West Clare CDNT. Maeve is a CPIPS trainer and has delivered training to CDNT physiotherapists across the Mid West region on CPIP assessment for hip surveillance. Maeve jointly runs the Motor Management service in Clare CDNT.
